The TYBC is recognised as the leading advocate for youth entrepreneurship in government. We are dedicated to facilitating an enabling environment for the development and prosperity of young entrepreneurs through, research, networking, education and advocacy. Through our Regional Committees and Industry Sector Forums, we work everyday to direct opportunities, and to provide services to young entrepreneurs.
The TYBC is a platform for youth business development. We support established and growing youth owned businesses by connecting them to the right people and through a range of business services and events. it is also involved with leadership development, education and economic development.
Members of the TYBC enjoy individual and collective approaches to advisers and decision makers in procurement and policy issues; formal representation in government consultative forums; access to companies in specific sectors; regular opportunities to gain access to, and link with, prime contractors and second and third tier companies; and representation to government and decision makers. Members also get opportunities to connect with peers to exchange information, share best practices, and generate new ideas in various industrial sectors;
We focus on the delivery of specialist services to specific industry sectors including networking opportunities, development of supply chains, policy representation and working groups with businesses operating in specialised fields. Tailored information services also complement sector services through the provision of targeted newsletters, news alerts and industry sector updates.
